This multi-type monaka ice cream is made of ice cream using powdered green tea and gyokuro (gyokuro) produced in Kyoto Prefecture by Marumune, a long-established Uji tea specialty store, and wrapped with tsubuan (sweet bean jam) made from Hokkaido azuki (red beans). The tsubuan is made from Hokkaido azuki beans, which Imuraya cooks from fresh beans to make them soft even when frozen.
