Founded in 1947 in Iwatsuka Village (now Nagaoka, Niigata), initially as Iwatsuka Agricultural Processing Plant before incorporating in 1954 and renaming itself Iwatsuka Seika in 1960, the company focuses on traditional rice-based snacks using 100% domestically grown rice
